The RCC can control two drivemotors
On/Off Forward/Rewerse and a third motor On/Off, useful
for example as cutter-motor in a lawnmover project.
The RCC also has two chanel IR obstacle detection,
and a system that detects a Buried Wire Fence. With theese two systems the robot can avoid obstacles
and the buried wire can set the working area for the
robot. The BWF system can also be as a hidden track
for the robot to follow, very useful in projects where
you want the robot to find it's chargerstation an be
a self-charging robot. Very useful for selfcharging
is also the onboard A/D converter that monitors the
battery-voltage, and the system that can determine
if there is charge-current available.
The RCC also has a prototype-area for your own additions
and sensors.
The RCC comes with a second smaller PCB. This PCB contains
the transmitter to the Buried Wire Fence, AND a charger
for constant current charging of NiMh or NiCd accumulators.
